Max. Turning Length: 110″ (2800mm)
This is the flagship of our lathe department. On our Puma 800L’s we have 4-jaw chucks that alow us to bore/turn excentric parts. We run long shafts or mandrals, large od parts (35″), and deep bores. We also hold tollerances of .001″ and finishes of 32mu.

Puma 700L

Type: Turning center
Make: Doosan
Control: Fanuc
Max. Turning Dia: 25″ (650mm)
Max. Turning Length: 110″ (2800mm)
This is the little brother of the Puma 800L. On our Puma 700L’s we have 4-jaw chucks that alow us to bore/turn excentric parts. We run long shafts or mandrals, large od parts (25″), and deep bores. We also hold tollerances of .001″ and finishes of 32mu.

Puma 480XL

Type: Turning center
Make: Doosan
Control: Fanuc
Max. Turning Dia: 24″ (600mm)
Max. Turning Length: 110″ (2800mm)
Like on our Puma 800L’s and Puma 700L’s, our 480XL has a 4-jaw a chuck that alows us to bore/turn excentric parts. We can also run long shafts or mandrals, large od parts (24″), and deep bores. We also hold tollerances of .001″ and finishes of 32mu.

Puma 480L

Type: Turning center
Make: Doosan
Control: Fanuc
Max. Turning Dia: 24″ (600mm)
Max. Turning Length: 70″ (1800mm)
This is a little shorter than its sister the 480XL. The Puma 480L also has a 4-jaw a chuck that alows us to bore/turn excentric parts.. we also run long shafts or mandrels, large od parts (24″), and deep bores. We also hold tolerances of .001″ and finishes of 32mu.

Puma 400L

Type: Turning center
Make: Doosan
Control: Fanuc
Max. Turning Dia: 21″ (550mm)
Max. Turning Length: 41″ (1043mm)
The Puma 400L is a mid-sized turning center. We use the Puma 400 to manufacture medium sized precision parts, holding within .001″ T.I.R. and finishes of 16mu.

Puma 300LM

Type: Multitasking Machining Center
Make: Doosan
Control: Fanuc
Max. Turning Dia: 24″ (600mm)
Max. Turning Length: 120″ (3000mm)
The Puma 300 LM has the same capabilities as the Puma 300 L with the addition of milling. This machine uses both turning and milling tools. With it’s 3 axises [X,Z,C] we can perform turning and light milling all in the same setup. This reduces cost and lead time.

Puma 300L

Type: Turning center
Make: Doosan
Control: Fanuc
Max. Turning Dia: 15.7″ (400mm)
Max. Turning Length: 50.4″ (1280mm)
The Puma 300L does not have the capacity of its larger siblings, however, where it lacks in size it makes up in accuracy and agility. We use our Puma 300’s to manufacture small precision parts, holding within .001″ T.I.R. and finishes of 16mu.

Type: Multitasking Machining Center
Make: Okuma
Control: Okuma p300
Max. Turning Dia: 16″ (410mm)
Max. Turning Length: 20″ (500mm)
The Okuma Lb3000 EX-II is unique. It has a Y axis which allows us to not only turn parts, but mill off center line. The Okuma P300 control offers us several unique options such has thread milling, off center turning, and hobbing just to name a few.

LU45 II

Type: Twin Turret Turning Center
Make: Okuma
Control: Okuma P200
Max. Turning Dia: 25.5″ (650mm)
Max. Turning Length: 39″ (1000mm)
With its double turrets, the LU45 can seriously remove material in a short period of time. We have perfected our processes so that both turrets are machining at the same time. We have reduced the machining of a mandrel from 4hrs and several operations to 45min in just one operation.

Toyoda SB316YM

Type: 5 face milling center
Make: Toyoda
Control: Fanuc
Table Size: 118″ x 59″ (3,000 mm x 1,500 mm)
Max Axis Travel: X-120.5″, Y-63″, Z-31.5″
Horse Power: 35 HP (26 kW) for 30 min. / 30 HP (22 kW) cont.
Addons: 24″ Rotary Table, Integrated 90deg head
The SB316YM is the flag ship of the mill department. Because it is a column type mill, it’s weight capasity is extremely large. The table can hold up to 22,000Lbs (10,000Kgs). Also, with it’s intergrated fully programmable 90deg head it becomes a 5 face machine. We can not only cut vertically, but horizontally at 1deg incriments. We can manufacture a verity of parts on this machine.

Toyoda FV1680

Type: Vertical milling center
Make: Toyoda
Control: Fanuc
Table Size: 68.9″ x 31.5″ (1,750 mm x 800 mm)
Max Axis Travel: X-63″, Y-31.5″, Z-31.5″
Horse Power: 35 HP (26 kW) for 30 min. / 30 HP (22 kW) cont.
Addons: 12″ Rotary Table
The FV1680 is a heavy-duty vertical machining center that features four Y-axis box guideways, a Meehanite cast iron base, and a high-performance spindle. This machine can remove material at a very high rate of speed as well as maintaining accuracy. With this machine we can hold tolerances under .001″

Doosan DMV 5025 & 3016

Don’t let their size fool you. Though our Doosan mills are small they do a lot of work for us. They are fast and accurate, keeping tolerances of .002″. The DMV 5025 is a Cat 50 spindle and can handle a good amount of torque. The DMV 3016 is a Cat 40 spindle and can move fast. They are both box way machines for rigidity. We use these for high productivity parts such as CV shafts and other mud motor internal parts.

Viper 3100

Type: Vertical milling center
Make: Mighty Viper
Control: Fanuc
Table Size: 120″ x 41″ (3100 mm x 1040 mm)
Max Axis Travel: X-119″, Y-40″, Z-42″
Horse Power: 35 HP
Addons: 24″ Rotary Table
The Vipers are the work horses of the mill department. They are ridged and can remove a lot of material. We use our vipers to rough out parts such as stabilizers and reamers. We can hold +/- .005 tolerances. We use state of the art high feed mills with these mills to achieve high material removal rates.

Dedicated QC Area

“We stand by our services so you can stand by yours!” This is our moto. We have devoted time and resources to make sure we have the best equipment to ensure that only quality products leave our facility. Some of the equipment includes the Faro Arm for accurate point measuring, state of the art hardness tester for nondestructive hardness testing, and in house built data recording software. We do outgoing, incoming and first article inspections on all parts. We also calibrate our tools every year.

Zeiss CMM

In an ongoing effort to improve our quality, we invested in a Zeiss cmm. We are now able to check GD&T more acuratly. We are able to check tight tollerances and provide a detailed report upon request to our customers.

Rework Department

Our rework service provides the ability to rework used API parts to be reused out in the field. We rework and inspect all parts as though they were new. We also can repair non API items. We have a full compliment of Weiler lathes that have the ability to pick up lead and rework a connection quickly. We also have a few manual lathes and mills for anything that may need customization.

Robot Cells

We are always looking at ways to be on the cutting edge of technology. We got our first robot, affectionately named “Johny 5”, in 2010 to produce bearing races. Since then we have built two more robotic cells that run 24hrs a day. This allows us to manufacture large orders in a shorter amount of time. We can manufacture a verity of parts on these three cells. Our latest achievement is our Okuma Race Cell. This can produce around 800 races in a shift. It is self-contained, inspecting each part, auto offsetting the machine, and then palletizing the races. This cell can run lights out and be monitored remotely.
